what have I done to the photo gods for this one??!!
I’m beginning to think I have bad karma… and wondering why? What did I do?! I got up and went straight to the coffee pot, as usual. Took a sip of my coffee and sat on the couch, with my my camera and memory cards. I put the coffee on the floor and was getting out my memory card with all my sports shots and what happens!? IT GOES STRAIGHT INTO THE COFFEE CUP! WHAT I THOUGHT COFFEE WAS ON MY SIDE, WHY WOULD THIS HAPPEN 3 HOURS BEFORE MY CLASS!!!! Dried the card off, put it in the camera, said “card cannot be accessed.” So what to do know, the only thing I can do.. take pictures of still life. yuck.
((**took 5 min break to blow dry my coffee stained memory card** let it sit and OMG PEOPLE MY PICTURES ARE THERE! THANKS THE HEAVENS FOR BLOW DRYERS AND RICE**)))
Maybe my karma isn’t so bad.. hmm..
But here’s another thing. I was spoiled last semester with the best photography teacher I’ll ever have. She was brilliant and helped each of the students find their voice within the photograph and make it their own. I miss her so. This teacher on the other hand.. I don’t understand. Shows zero inspiration in the class and already dropped a student’s expensive camera.. SO.. questionable. The class is half the size now from kids who dropped. He makes good prints and has an eye for photography, but I’m being too critical and auguring if it’s a inspirational one..?
I can’t believe an effing blow dryer worked. holy shit. you have no idea how much I was thinking my professor would not believe me if I had to tell him I dropped my memory card in my coffee cup this morning… !! thank you blow dryer gods and the ability for memory cards to dehydrate!
long day ahead of me, class till 4:30. hopefully it’ll be an inspirational one! *fingers crossed* !
